I am catching up on posting pictures of the squares people have given to me over the years. These squares came from my Aunt Diane in 2008 of the family. They are wonderful- see how everyone is on there, now there is another daughter in law to be. She is so clever! Thank you for sending these.

Jackpot!

I got my FIRST family quilt square on Aug 4! And my dear aunt gave me THREE unique squares! I am unable to post them at this time but I will along with the special message she wrote with each. It was obvious how she took the time to put so much thought into each. Thank You, Aunt D!

Number 2

I am involved in a LID secret pal exchange and she must have checked out this site. She also must have felt sorry for me because my latest package came this week and was the MOTHER LOAD! It was filled with all kinds of goodies. See my adoption blog for more details. BUT what was very special is that she included a quilt square which moves me one more step closer to 100.

It had an inspiring card attached that read:

Dreams come a SIZE TOO BIG so we can grow into them.

There is also the Chinese character for "LOVE" on each side.

My First!

I received my first quilt square from my friend at work, Denise on May 10, 2007. It came at a needed time when I was stressing as usual and I walked into my classroom and there it was on my desk! She is such a blessing to have as a friend. We don't get to talk much but when we do I always feel better and wishing we could get together more. Aren't the butterflies cute? The hands on the card are very special since it means to me that we are in this as a family. Thanks so much for helping me get started with this.
